BILL "13:11" MCEVOY

Bill McEvoy's work derives from his love of cartoons, tattoo & skateboard art, religion, politics and a steady stream of all things subculture. Working in an array of mediums since he was a child, including stop-motion animation, hand drawn films, sculpture & creature effects, McEvoy has recently turned his attention to painting and showing work in galleries. McEvoy brings to life an army of characters in "Delirium", a solo show proudly presented by Solid Gallery One. The works in "Delirium" are both fun and expressive as McEvoy populates his paintings with cartoon characters and wild creatures adding his signature edge and attitude. McEvoy's inventive imagination along with his bold (and sometimes glittering) color palette are surpassed only by his mastery of canvas, wood and all things paintable! There is no doubt that all audiences will be captivated as Bill McEvoy's subjects explode into our gallery and create havoc for a 5 week exhibition commencing on October 11th, 2008.
